Alice in Wonderland Syndrome also called Todd’s syndrome or Lilliputian hallucination is a condition in which visual perception is altered. This altered state can cause objects to appear smaller, bigger, closer or farther away then really are. It is believed that at least 10 percent of the population experience these effects at least once in their lifetime.
You may also find that the room you’re in — or the surrounding furniture — seems to shift and feel further away or closer than it really is.
These altered states aren’t the result of a problem in your eyes or a hallucination.
